This year Edoardo Bellassai will be assistant Director of Arab League for NottsMUN. He is in his final year at the University of Manchester where he studies Business Studies and Politics. To briefly summarize years of MUN experience: despite being Italian he began MUN in Paris where he attended high school. While in the Paris he was president of his MUN society and was President of FAO at Genova International MUN Conference, despite attending countless conferences around Europe. After an academic hiatus, dedicated to his honorable and unscropulous passion for the study of money making, he returned to the MUN circuit with WorldMUN 2019. Now, he is extremely excited to meet you all this weekend at NottsMUN 2019.
Hey everyone, I’m Lakshya, a first year Law student at the University of Nottingham. I’m an international student from India and am fluent in 2 languages and learning two more. Model UN remains close to me for it has helped me develop leadership skills, communication skills, etc. and I believe that we can actually make a difference at the global level with the ideas proposed here. I began my Model UN journey back in 8th grade and have gained quite some experience since then. I have been to many conferences in India and specialise in Security Councils and Arab Leagues. As a chair, I’m extremely approachable and friendly so feel free to approach me if you have any questions. I enjoy active committee participation and appreciate good diplomacy skills, while staying within the boundaries of one’s foreign policies. Personally, I’m a FC Barcelona fan and also a Formula 1 enthusiast. I love travelling and spent my summer exploring the Middle East and their beautiful culture.
