Hello everyone! I’m William, currently a 2nd year studying Finance, Accounting and Management at the University of Nottingham. This is my second chairing experience since my first MUN conference back in 2013! I have been addicted to conferences since then, over the last year I have attended multiple conferences all over the UK, and even went to Madrid for WorldMUN. This year’s DISEC topic requires delegates to have a certain level of understanding of treaties and international diplomacy. I hope that all of you, no matter how much prior MUN experience you have, would have a blast at this year’s conference like I had in last year. Last year’s NottsMUN was an exciting and memorable experience for me and I would hope to make your experience this year as exciting as well. Hope that you will enjoy the topics that we have prepared for you, have a once of a lifetime experience at NottsMUN! I will certainly look forward to a productive debate with some imaginative and realistic solutions to the issues!
I am a first year studying International Relations at King’s College London. I am originally from Athens, Greece. My engagement with MUN dates back to 2016. Since, I have attended conferences in multiple countries. This year’s NottsMUN will be my third UK conference and my fifth chairing experience. I cannot wait to meet you all!
