Director

Madison is a final year History student with a thematic specialisation of War and regional focus on the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia. Within Model UN she will be serving her last year at KCL as Vice President of the KCL UNA and this will be her 13th crisis simulation. Outside of the crisis circuit, Madison hopes to work in the field of migration – putting in over 300 hours of work with asylum-seekers over the past calendar year with three separate NGOs. She is also the Editor-in-Chief of the KCL Women & Politics blog, The Clandestine where she hopes to elevate the voices of women and non-binary people in all facets of media. In her free time, she loves to sing, dance, play music with her friends, and argue about international politics over a good gin and tonic.’

I’m Cynthia, a 2nd year English Language and Linguistics student at King’s College London. I am American, Belgian, and an honorary Finn. Perhaps unsurprisingly, I am trilingual. I did my first MUN conference in middle school, and got very into it in university when I discovered crisis, and I have since become an avid crisis person. I also spend time travelling, drawing and painting, and amateur cooking with friends. Besides linguistics and MUN, I am also passionate about not dying of climate change, and activism.
